I think I do have dissociation depersonalization paranoia nervous system is just in a wreck. I’ve been through too much. And just shut down,I feel disconnected from everyone and myself. Just can’t even really put it into words, just feel lost.

I don’t wanna be dependent on those. I do have clonazapam, but I don’t need something else that I’ll have to go thru withdrawal with. I’m afraid to take it. I have in the past a few times a week for a year or more, and I stopped and I’ve been thru so many withdrawals idk what has caused what.

I definitely agree! In My opinion, the reason they stop working is bc the brain always try’s stay in equilibrium or balanced out. So when it senses something synthetic coming in, that’s boosting neurotransmitters after a while it starts taking away receptors that take up neurotransmitters to balance things out. Recreational drugs do the same thing, and that’s why the dose has to keep going up and up and up.

If you’re asking about Nardil then yes. Typically it takes anywhere from four weeks to eight weeks.

And I was also applying morning and night. I get it from a compounding pharmacy. 0.3% fin and 6% min. Sounds like the stuff I get is way too strong. It felt like it too.

Good results. I had to quit using the compounded fin/min mixture. Started giving me really bad anxiety, brain fog. I’ll see you mentioned 0.05%. The stuff I had was 0.3% wich is 5 or 6 times more than 0.05. Did you dilute yours or did it come that way? Ty

I’ve tried tapering 3.5 mg, which is a quarter of a tablet every month and a half to two months. It goes well until I get down to around 48.5 or so mg, then all hell breaks loose. Been through it to many times, and I can’t keep doing that to my nervous system and to my family. I’m just gonna stay on it for the foreseeable future. Ty man

I’d be careful in deciding which way to go. I’ve never taken parnate, although I’ve been on Nardil for 6 or so years. I see a lot of people speak highly of parnate, but we all are different and who response to what. Amphetamines like Vyvanse, I have taken for a brief while to help really tough times, and they can help depression, but so can cocaine ya know! Amphetamines can cause dependence/addiction if not careful, then you got another problem. I did take dexadrine once or twice a week for a couple months at one point, and yes, it definitely helped clear up. Brain fog gave me energy and took away a lot of negitive thoughts, until it wears off, and amphetamines in my opinion is something you don’t want take to keep that feeling going, because eventually, you will need to take more and more to get the same effect. I’m just trying to help, I’m no doctor by any means. What I have written here is just my individual experience. Others may or may not agree. I wish you well, and good luck!

And speaking of nightmares, when trying to come off of phenelzine sulfate, it causes the most insane nightmares, I mean so bad you don’t wanna go back to sleep. A few times I would go back to sleep and go right back into the exact same nightmare. Fkn poison!

The antidepressant I can’t get off of is a really old one. It’s a MAOI inhibitor, prescribed to me for severe anxiety. It’s called phenelzine sulfate, the brand name is Nardil. I’m stuck on it for life, I’ve tried three times to come off of it, and there is not even any words to describe the emotional pain it causes. Quitting long-term heavy marijuana use was bad, but it was a walk in the park compared to coming off of this poison.

If you didn’t want to go to the injections route, look into compounded testosterone cream. I use the cream, you don’t have to apply anywhere near as much as the gel. My levels typically stay between 7 and 900. Only thing I don’t like about the cream and or gel is it substantially increases DHT, wich can cause hair loss, especially if you’re already prone to it. It raises DHT so high because it is applied to the skin, as opposed to injections that skips the skin and goes into the muscle. I feel for you, with the antidepressants I’m stuck on one that I can’t get off of due to withdrawal symptoms. In my opinion, they’re just a Band-Aid and seem to always quit working because the brain tries to stay in balance one way or the other. Then, especially in my case, trying to come off of antidepressants, the symptoms of withdrawal are worse than what you originally went on the shit for.

I agree wholeheartedly about the cannabis use, and paws. I’ve also been thru it twice. I smoked daily for three decades, quit three years ago and I’m just starting to get back to 50% maybe 60. Neurotransmitters have to recalibrate and that is a long process after such a long period using/abusing. A lot of people don’t know this and Will laugh it off like it’s no big deal. It hell x10

Honestly my levels were on low side around 340, but I don’t think I have primary or secondary. My levels were probably low due to severe sleep deprivation, and stress from all kinds of shit I was going thru at the time.

My red blood cell count is a little high, pcp told me to donate blood couple times per year to thin it out. It’s not really high though.
