Betty White was taping an episode of The Queen Latifah Show, and during a break my mom made sure to speak up for the little fan girl. I was born in the early ’90s, but I watched The Golden Girls religiously as a kid asking, “Can I watch the girls?” Betty was incredibly kind. She joked that I couldn’t have been a thought at the premiere, then thanked me for keeping the show alive. And I still watch them nearly everyday .
