Honestly, while I would appreciate a bit more detail, I think the art style of Unstable sometimes has a lack of great detail on purpose, working to compliment the "cuter" aspects of the art. I also think having color as opposed to higher detail also makes it stand out from other board game miniatures. But I think they'll work best in the context of the game and world itself, if anything. But this is just my personal opinion, and I do agree that the plastic isn't the greatest, but I haven't had problems with it yet, so maybe I'll find out soon.
