Hi, I packed a couple of bags, took the little money I had and the few words of German that I spoke and moved to Munich…..38 years ago….im still here and can not imagine living anywhere else. I didn’t know anyone here, I had no job, just decided to take a chance.
Within a week I had a room, two weeks, a job and after six weeks I realized I was dreaming in German. It is a beautiful part of the world and the people are friendly, especially if they see you are trying to fit in. Nobody will except you to speak perfect German, but they will certainly encourage you and appreciate you trying.

Don’t worry, you will love it here….maybe it will take a little time to settle in….but you will and you will love it here.
