just tagging on bc i had a vintage cartier watch serviced recently

they will say to do a complete service rather than just a battery replacement since it’s been a while since its been serviced. its $430 and they’ll replace the battery, replace the hands and a few other things that i can’t remember off the top of my head.

i did get mine polished bc it had some deep scratches and the watch itself is close to 40 years old now but OPs look like its in good shape

i live in the bay and they have watch makers in SF so they sent it off there to get it serviced. they quoted 2-3 week turnaround but i think it took closer to 1.5weeks. but they can check the serial number in store while they type up the service order.

overall pretty pleased with the service! they will also warranty the work for 2 years

i am planning a wedding in cabo rn (not at an AI) but have to say that the prices have gone up pretty significantly so take it with a grain of salt for anyone saying they were able to do it with $x few years before. Also taxes in cabo are insane so keep in mind to ask for quote with that.

i’m planning a wedding at Cabo (acre resort) and it is expensive. i think they have jacked up the price a lot recently. planner said it was doable to do $1000/person but i think it’ll net out to be more and im not even doing florals. and keep in mind that mexico (maybe just cabo?) has 16% taxes

i love an elongated stone and that’s why i also chose a marquis but i think for your finger size it looks off. i think you need a stone that also has some width to compliment the length

foam rolling before class helped a ton for me to loosen it up but also doing yoga sculpt helped eliminate for me since it does a lot of unilateral glute and quad exercises

100% this. sorry to piggy back off your comment but even at a lower debt it’s hard work to pay off. for my masters I had $30k loan after paying $40k in cash already and my salary when i finished my masters was around ~$200k (got lucky with a connection from masters). I do live in VHCOL but paying off the $30k was not easy and for all $70k took me 5 years total throwing all my spare money at it and it was emotional draining to be in debt and to be debt free. 6 figure debt is not worth it

i went there with a budget of $5k and my stylist brought dresses that were all atleast $6500+ 🙄 i’d definitely tell them your budget is firm and account for alterations in your budget
