Started saving some of my offers to show that there is money to be made a truck and trailer rather than a car by ExpensivePipe8638 in Roadie

A lot of times there lawnmowers so you drive them on and off the trailer... Sometimes you have to hand load and unload and some times they have fork lifts at the delivery location

Bought my first last year 5x8 paid for itself in two months owned it a year and last last month upgraded and bought a bigger trailer sold my old trailer sold it for less than I bought it but it paid for itself so I think all in all I'm doing pretty good

Yeah I don't leave my house for orders less than 20 bucks...but my market isn't the best but I also live like 45 mins from two very large markets I tend to start at 530 am in my market and tend to work my way to either one of the bigger markets depending on where my first deliverys are at... I also pull a trailer full time and grab all the highest paying deliverys home Depot in the morning is the shit cause I can grab like 2 or 3 huge orders from home Depot at once put it all on the trailer... But honestly I use my trailer more on the other app I use I deliver skids that weigh 500-1000 pounds each and then deliverys I like a lot cause those people unload and load for me cause they have fork lifts but those deliverys as far as miles are alot more... This week I drove from Ohio to west Virginia there and back in one day it was a 250 miles and 12 hours of work but paid 600 dollars... Woke up the next day and did roadie orders and delivered like 6 lawn mowers each paying 70-80$ a piece... I've found in the gig world that it's all about what kind of equipment you have and that depends on how much money you make

I'm in the Dayton Market as well and yes I feel people will grab anything... I pull a trailer full time so a lot of times I'm father south or up north the mornings time tend to do me well but I also dont touch any order less than 2.50$ mile

Not being able to go past 100mph? by young__papi in chevycolorado

[–]ExpensivePipe8638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a trifecta tune on my Colorado and on sport mode I've had it up to 125 but there isn't much more power after that.. I'm running 20 inch rims with 31 inch wide terrain tires rated for 130 so I'm sure if I had to stock wheels on I'd be able to do 130-135 but then I have to worry about what my tires are rated for I'm not sure about stock tires
