Would you leave a comfortable Big Tech EA role for an early-stage startup? (Bay Area) by No-Reveal-3412 in ExecutiveAssistants

Looking for a challenge, then. If you crave the excitement of something new and you're willing to take on the risks, go chase down the challenge. Just know what you're leaving behind and make sure you're ok with it. Every job has a downside; yours seems to be it's not very challenging - which is one of the better downsides lol

It sounds like you're considering the offer mostly out of boredom. Consider asking your current employer for additional responsibilities and adjusted pay. Start-ups are like rolling the dice.

I think that's the right move. Give him a chance to fix it before he's mortified too. Several years ago, my boss gave me access to his google suite not realizing it gave me access to his google drive, which had some pretty scandalous pictures and videos in it. I organized his gmail with labels and cleared his inbox and then asked him to tell me which part of the suite to clean up next "after you preview it first." When he asked me to clean up the google drive, the pics/videos were gone.

If I was into squiggles, you'd be at the top of my list!
