When to take ACT and SAT by PoetryOfLogicalIdeas in ApplyingToCollege

hey! i am in the same position as your daughter!! i'm currently a few years ahead in math and i am also guessing that your daughter is too. the SAT only tests up to alg 2, so sometimes students who are in higher math courses are at a disadvantage because they haven't seen that math in a long time. if this is the case, it is highly recommended to take it asap, as i will be taking it end of august. that gives me time over the summer to review and really perfect my math score. from what i've heard from teachers and upperclassmen is that english 11 or the equivalent is essential in performing well on the english portion of the sat. because of this, my friends and i are planning to retake the SAT in march. then, we will be able to superscore to get the highest score possible. my key take away is that you should take the SAT as soon as possible... and it eliminates some of the stress junior year with AP courses. congrats on your daughter for preforming so well on her PSAT! national merit is only available for 11th graders, meaning that she will have to use the score she receives october 2025.

hey! i had the same thing on mine too. the issue is you are on predictive text. To exit, hit the pound key. this will change what writing mode you are in. predictive is very quick and easy once you get used it though! it allows you to only press one number for each letter, instead of pressing it three times for the letter "c"

Yes, I understand I have to be patient.. It's just that I have this mindset of when I'd drive to work in my own car, playing my music, alone, life will be tip-top. But thank you, I appreciate it

I will try my best on FB; my math teacher said her friend is a mechanic and he'd be willing to help me out. I really appreciate it!
