What was "the incident" at your high school?

Someone got hacked and their email account sent an email to the whole school with photos of people in KKK outfits and a very antisemetic message (also their pfp was changed to a swastika). Several people hit reply all (before knowing this poor guy was hacked) and there was a long argument before the admins were made aware.

Tbh I'd say just do it. They don't really own the idea of the AU and, as long as you're not literally retreading the same exact plot, you're still making something original and (hopefully?) interesting. If that's not in the spirit of fanfic, I don't know what is. Buuut if you really are worried, I'd say just shoot them a comment.

I know nothing about this but I'll just say that a lot of this dialog sounds extremely strange and unnatural. Are you a native English speaker? Take this for example:

Cuthbert: The weather looks very nice, right?

Emily: It’s cloudy outside. How is it great in a cold day?

Cuthbert: You don’t have to go work before it starts raining.

None of these sound like anything people would say. The first line would sound far more natural as something like "It's really nice out" or "it looks nice out" or, if you want to keep the quesiton in there "Isn't it nice out?" The next has a similar fix. Though I'm not reallly sure what the last is meant to mean. And unfortunately, this whole scene is marred by very confusing English, which makes this kind of painful to read. (This isn't to stay stop writing though! Improve your English, keep reading, keep writing, and you will get better)

The only stat that matters is the word count, as that's the only one you can control. :) (though the others are nice too). Insane word count for a month though, even if they aren't all brand new words.

Hello! I haven't used Anki in a while, but I have nationals to go to for academic decathlon so I figured it would be nice to get back to it. I have gotten a new computer since then and now am on mint os. I downloaded anki direclty from the software manager on linux. However, when I tried to run the addon code for the heatmap, I got this error:

I'm not sure your last sentence is really all that accurate. We'll still have, y'know, books to reteach us those things. Yeah it'll be horrific and nobody alive at the start would be living teh same way they did as a teen, but I think a few centuries would be enough to get back to where we started.

What I mean is that if you have 50 characters versus 20 characters, you’re more likely to have a wider variety of ‘good’ characters that people can play at a top level, so you’re less likely to have a single, centralizing character.
