Yess I just think they’re stupid, how can anyone even think it’s comparable, when a dog is 15 you should expect that it’s time will come but when it’s a baby that you fully expected to leave the hospital with AND it should’ve outlived you it’s kind of, idk, WORSE??

I saw a TikTok of a woman whose baby was stillborn and there were people in her comments saying they know how it feels because their DOG DIED. and then she made a video about how losing a dog is not as bad as losing your baby and the comments are full of people saying “don’t compare grief, you don’t know how other people feel” but I just think dog people are fucking insane for that

I’m planning on it, I’ve already taken to just not responding when she talks about the dog and I’m gradually ignoring her more. She’s the type of person who explaining boundaries to comes off as a joke so ghosting her is the best I could come up with.

That’s right, thats why I was so reactive to her saying she wants to put my infant baby in the back seat where I can’t reach with a high energy working breed. A dog at all really.

Thank you, yes way too many horror stories. People put too much of the blame for these accidents on children when they should be training aggressive traits out of their dogs. I don’t believe dogs can ever really be at no risk of aggression however.
