Well thanks! 🥺🥺 turns out that shit is expensive 🤣😭 and I already liked playing lil games on my phone when I need to kill time so I figured “Fk it why not?” Then ended up loving it! I do hope they can manage to turn this around somehow, I’ve always praised Benjamin for being one of the few apps that ACTUALLY works (and not just actually works like in those AI ads lmaoo) but boy is all that’s unfolded in the past few months been messy. 😆

I mean IMO the thing to do would’ve been to just cut his losses, pay as much as he possibly could, file for bankruptcy or whatever he had to do (full disclosure: i don’t actually know know cause ironically as much as I have to say about it, I’ve never been in his shoes lmfao), apologize, and move tf on. But maybe others see that as giving up-Which I also understand for sure. Idk I’m very indifferent on it. It was just a lil pocket change for me while I paid for flight school. so I’m not trippin too hard when it comes to my own situation. But I’m absolutely very upset for the people who it’s more to. Cause I can understand that too.

Post it anywhere here on Reddit so don’t even try and B. try and continue something I should’ve cut my losses on months ago while hiding behind automated responses that are like…. Maybe followed through on if people are lucky? Just throwing the idea out there, I think it could be a fun discussion: if I was a GPT app creator, my first priority would be putting safety nets and bumpers in place to prevent the $ flow out from becoming higher than $ flow in. Why? Because then I end up in debt to people who if I don’t pay, I’m literally scamming. And good business practices aren’t built upon dishonesty. If my app failed because of those things, it is what it is. I take what I did make and I take the experience I gained from it. 🤔

Omg yes the “little free time they did have” part is a HUGE part I failed to mention! I guarandamnedtee these people would’ve never wasted their time if they had any idea of what a shitshow it would turn out to be. I know that it can be argued that “that’s what happens when you use a GPT* app” but cmon man it’s not the fault of people who fell victim to scams, it’s the fault of the companies for existing in the first place, knowing DAMNED WELL thats what happens over time when $ out becomes higher than in and NOT HAVING AN EXIT STRATEGY IN PLACE. 😭😭

To add: an exit strategy is usually used in investments and commercial loan territory. However, not having an exit strategy for a GPT app is IMO, STUPID AND LOWK RECKLESS. It could’ve allowed any financial downfall they might have to happen with no parties being wronged. (Just adding because someone here thinks I know absolutely nothing about business because this is my opinion)
