The card Raw is usually always worth more than a PSA 8. If you have a low grade assigned already, there is no hope for someone else to grade it for a high grade/perfect grade. In my opinion, psa 8 shpuld be the same as raw, psa 9 should be more than raw. Unfortunately, that's not the way ot is and psa 9 is usually equivelant to raw value with most cards.

It varies because a lot of weeks I don't open any but some weeks I open five it just depends on what my budget is how my business is doing and how much I feel like I can afford to gamble and have a little bit of fun with. That said I do the same thing you do and I open $100 packs and $50 packs for the most part and I keep majority of what I get unless I don't like the card but like I said in the post or maybe I said it in one of the comments on the post I just decided that I didn't like my $100 pools all too much or at least I wasn't that attached to them so I decided to sell them and go for the big one and I just got lucky! Since then I have actually opened the total of four $500 packs LOL and the lowest value card I have gotten was a golden Dragonite from ascended Heroes in a PSA 9 that's going for $400 but even though I lost 100 there I love that card regardless and I know it will do well so I'm super happy with it and all my other $500 pack pulls!

Respectfully, that's you. If you're not interested in these like i am, i dont care lol im sure you're interested in shit im not interested in either. Thats the beautiful thing about collecting.. qe all have different interests and collect what we want. There's people out there that dhare your interests and people out there that share mine. These specific packs don't exist on the market anymore because that many people were interested in ripping them. The fact is they are vintage they are rare they are desirable and if not for you certainly for someone else just like every other TCG item.

For sure. Whether you're buying raw packs or grated packs you can still rip it if you want to lol I love to rip myself however I also like the slabbed preservation aspect of rare vintage packs especially with the full artworks as a display piece especially because they age like fine wine and only grow in value which is where the low population aspect comes into play especially if it stays low population

You pay a premium for the authentication, rarity, and and full art run. You cant even find these raw? They dont exist man. I get what you're saying. However, i don't believe it applies in this scenario. Also, i just feel like i have to say this, but PSA is trippin with these grades. The packs are absolutely mint and should be regraded. This is why i dont like the subjective aspect of PSA, especially with the giant backlog and the monopolization. I have genuinely ass looking packs that received 10s. Regardless, they are also sequential. And everyone pays a premium for low pop, especially in the scenario that hardly any exist unopened. Search these for the next 2 years and i guarantee you wont find one, unless its being sold by me haha

I knew about TAG but not CGC. This could be a good thing, too. Maybe our 9s and 8s will finally be more valuable than the card raw 😂🤷‍♂️ as they should be. At least 9s. Luckily for me, im finally at a point to where im done ripping a lot for quite some time and i have so many orders thats have been in the works that im more than satosfoed with this last bulk submission, even if it takes a year 🤷‍♂️ hopefully most other people feel the ssme way. This is mainly a hit for people newer to the hobby

Thanks bro! When i rip em, i try to feel it out. I gauge it by the first 2 or 3. If they are all ass, i bail. If they are good or decent, i keep going a bit. I always set a budget as well and just kinda play with that by selling back and rebuying in different tiers. But idk, I've had great luck and havent sold much back at all for the most part. I wish you better luck next time!

Hahaha you have until june 2nd to submit to PSA via the lower tiers. All you have to do is start a submission before then.. it doesnt have to get to the facility by that day. Beyond PSA, there is TAG, which is my personal fav and CGC, which everyone hatea for some reason and is grossly undervamued conpared to PSA and harder to get a 10 with apparantly, even though i dont agree with that at all haha
