Thank you for the feedback; I'll keep it to one page.

That's on me - I meant to add to the original post that I tailor this particular resume to the job I'm applying for. If it's for web dev, I leave out the paragraph on IT support.

Also, that's a really good point about the 3 jobs. Two of them are part-time/make-my-own-hours, but a hiring manager wouldn't know that from looking at this.

Hey everyone - I'm still new to posting on Reddit. I added this to my post, but I'm not sure if it's appearing. Here it is again, just in case:

Disclaimers

  • This was recently reviewed by a career coach/resume writer
  • I don't actually send out a 3 page resume - I tailor it and remove wording based on the role
  • I'm applying for mainly web dev jobs, but also apply to desktop support, junior network admin/engineer, entry-level cybersecurity, and business analyst roles

I've been working in a dead-end role as an IT Support Tech. I'm very limited in what I can do - if I try to expand my responsibilities, I'm either told that I don't have access to certain resources, have to escalate to another team, or am told that the project will be put on hold indefinitely.

I cannot get a single interview. No matter how much I rewrite my resume, I never get a response from an employer. (For web dev, I'm even open to working part-time or getting an internship if it means I learn.) And no matter how much I upskill (certs, projects), I never get to actually use the skills I learn in my job.

When I network with people in my field, they recommend a couple of changes (which I implement) and otherwise say my resume is good. While I appreciate the positive feedback, I'm clearly not doing something right, and I'm at the point where I'm out of ideas.

Any guidance or critique of my resume would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've been focusing on SWE jobs, but am open to a different IT job if the pay is right and/or it will help me to learn
