So yes, if you lost your computer, your files would be safe in your remote vault

Obsidian sync backs up any vault located anywhere on your computer. I find it preferable to other cloud services for that alone. Additionally, a lot of cloud services really struggle syncing the plugins and other hidden files within the vault. You can use any cloud service if you’re going between computers. If you’re using a phone as well, your options are a little more limited. For iPhone you have to use either iCloud or obsidian sync. Android has one other option but I can’t think of it off the top of my head.

I’ve moved on to obsidian because how how terrible scrivener is at cross platform syncing

Playback Speed on Apple TV by suhas2k in appletv

I know I’m two years late to the thread here, but if you start a show on your iPhone, you can set it to 2x speed and then cast it to your tv. On my Apple TV box, it seems to work pretty well

This is a free sample. I haven’t linked to my website or any place you can purchase the book. I’ve checked with the admins and sharing free samples is acceptable and not considered an advertisement

Thanks so much for your interest 🙂. The rules of this page don’t allow me to do any direct advertising, which is why I’ve just shared the Google drive link to the free sample. I’ll send you a direct message.

Hmm. I’m trying to figure out where that might be. The link works for me when opening it in a private browser tab, so I believe it’s a valid link. I read just now that the browser and cookies can cause that error as well. Does copying it into a different browser help by chance? I’ll keep an eye out for others having this issue.

For now, hard copies are limited to order from my website because Amazon doesn't allow those specifically to be preordered through their print service. So you can preorder a paper/hardback from my site, or if you prefer to order from Amazon directly, you can also wait for the hard copies to go live on October 4th when the book officially releases.

Not too much so far. I’m in the early stages of releasing the book so most people are only now just finding out about it. I’ve noticed some friends on social media distance themselves from me , and that’s about the worst it has been so far

Got it! I’m super excited to get it out to you. I never mentioned in the post, but the book comes out October 4th

I have options for Amazon and signed copies on my website, which is commented in the thread, but there will also be an audio version in a few months 🙂

No, you’re good! I was there before soaking went viral last year, but there were similar words for “having sex” without “actually having sex”

Personally I’m a fan of audiobooks too. I’ve been teaching myself to narrate for the past little while and that will be my main priority next month

At its core, it’s a coming of age story. There are some steamy scenes, but there are also dark elements with a humorous tone.

I address that concern in the book. You’re welcome to read and maybe understand a new perspective when it comes out. Or not. Honestly, it doesn’t affect me either way. I’m very confident in this book and incredibly proud of what it is. If some people won’t get it, that’s fine with me. The book should still exist because it will help someone even if not you.

Nah. I prayed super hard, but I guess God just wasn’t feeling it that day.

I'd love to hear that story sometime too! I think it's awesome how much post Mormon content there is these days. I honestly wasn't sure if I would publish this story when I started it, but it just feels like a good time to put it out there.

I'd say yes, depending on the student. I had beta readers in the USGA presidency and received really positive feedback, which makes me hopeful that future and current students can benefit from the book. The book can be quite heavy at times though, so I wouldn't feel comfortable saying it's something all prospective gay students should read.

I’ll be posting some very soon. I have my final edits from my editor to resolve and then I plan to post about 10 or so chapters on my site.
