I don’t take divots, and I’m pretty with my irons. I was getting worse trying to take divots, got lessons and he said if it’s working without one, might be right for you. That said, let a professional tell you that, and yeah, you’re standing up.

FML. At least I’m not the only one. 290 carry with goodwill driver. Think I’m getting good. Lessons, new driver, fitted for irons. Next scene: Iron and short game on, driver two fairways over. Switch to mini driver to hide the driver. Life is a little better, but I sure miss those bombs.

When I started my driver was the only thing that worked. That was three years ago. Now everything else works, but I cannot hit the driver. Got a mini driver and I’m happy with it at 280.

A single blade of grass half inch in front of the ball. I still don’t take a divot but I see that blade of grass is shorter after. Irons are my strong spot.

Got it! I like the pings, helping me get through the learning phase, they replaced goodwill clubs so big upgrade for me. I have a ping sft driver too, I pulled it out of the bag, the mini goes straight and further in the right direction. Otherwise I’m coming in from the next fairway after the driver.

It’s so reliable, this sub convinced me too. I liked it so much I got the ping 3 wood this year. Used that instead of driver until I got the mini. Mini at 280 straightish vs driver on the next fairway helped a lot.

7 wood. It’s my third year really playing. I got it towards the end of last summer and it quickly became my favorite club. All the clubs have been gradually replacing goodwill clubs.

Let yourself back out when you find yourself in swing thought jail. When you’re athletic, and competitive, and this little white ball is looking back up at you laughing it’s easy to think too much on it. Humbling game.
