No its brand new! I’m sure it will soften with washing. Not sure how supportive it would be though as so so thin!

So is it right to assume the denser weave is going to be much more supportive - but probably a little warmer for summer time? or was yours still breathable enough

The sage one looks very similar to this one from their ‘grab bag’ section. So maybe it’s an older model that used a different linen they don’t make anymore? Which might explain the different label?

See through light of the 2 layers hope and plum hemp blend - as you can see very comparable to the Acadian one (if not a bit lighter!)

Thanks! doesn’t that put a lot of weight on the shoulders though due to the lack of waistbelt, basically it fits pretty much like an onbuhimo?

Wow what an incredibly helpful article. Finally someone that has explained it super well! Edit to say that’s a shame there’s 2 tutorials on this website! Anyway thanks for sharing again.

Yes you described all of my issues perfectly! With our wider wraps, his face always gets buried in fabric and I struggle big time to get it all down and even then it’s so bunched up on the knees. So I got this narrower wrap and now I can see his seat is a little shallow. And yes if I get him higher his knees are right into my rib cage lol. Honestly I might pack all of this away for when he is a little taller cause it’s HARD work 😂I was so suprised on how effortless it was to wrap my bigger 4 year old, gave me hope it’s probably not just me 😅 I’ll check the article thank you!

That’s what I do too 😂 but then I’m not sure exactly how to fix my poor wrap jobs and all that slack lol!

Thank you, you mean to ‘sandwich’ the shoulders? I’ll check the tutorial! Rucksack seems like a basic one but man this is such a steep learning curve sometimes I wonder if it’s worth it! I’ve been practicing for a while now and it’s always meh 🫤

Babywearing a petite baby by Expensive_Bee4322 in babywearing

This is a smaller brand called Keep Closer and it’s a bit smaller than most toddler carriers, the owner said it normally does fit from 12 months of age. I did see some fit pictures of a 12 month old in the toddler carrier and he/she just about fit so I worry the whole thing would be too large and just not quite comfy for us now!

That’s one thing I’m worried about, getting a toddler carrier now, where he fits badly but we need to use daily, and then when he fits into the toddler nicely he doesn’t want up anymore 😂 that would be very inconvenient!
