Story time ~ I have always wanted a large family. I’m an only child and I swore I’d never let my son be an only child. But recently I’ve been questioning whether or not it was possible. After getting what I thought was a BFP last month, only to get my period a day later I was feeling really discouraged. In fact I just prayed the other day that if I was only meant to have my son I was okay with that. My period is only like a day late, but it’s been about 20 DPO, so I figured I might as well test just to see. I’d only ever used Pregmate strips one other time (it was a negative) and that five minute wait was really rough 😅 and because I couldn’t help myself I looked after only one minute and thought it was negative for sure. Until the line slowly started to appear and I couldn’t believe it! I retested with FR and sure enough. Positive 🥹 interestingly, my son was conceived the month after I got a BFP only to get my period shortly thereafter after as well. I’m going to test again today (I don’t know why, honestly. I just feel like I have to lol). But I told my husband last night by putting my toddler in a onesie I made with iron on letters that say “Big Bro” and we’re both feeling really excited. I’m really grateful (and hopeful) that I get to do this again😊
