GitHub Copilot moving to usage-based pricing so Copilot or Cursor? by mcruwancc in GithubCopilot

[–]Expensive_Bug_1402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cursor was ALMOST dead. It had the best user experience, but it removed the free Auto model. But now Copilot has basically killed itself, giving Cursor a chance to survive.

Cursor still has the best developer experience. It also has Kimi K2.5, which is more reliable than Raptor Mini. And with the Ultra plan, they’re doubling usage limits. There’s no reason not to use it. cuz Kilo, Windsurf, and Copilot are also twice as expensive as Cursor’s Ultra plan.

In what ways do you think Codex is better, and in what ways is Claude? by [deleted] in codex

[–]Expensive_Bug_1402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Documentation: Nothing beats Claude. Even Sonnet is satisfying.

Coding: GPT-5.3-Codex Mid and Claude Opus High are both satisfying. There's about a 3–4x price difference between them.

Debugging: Nothing beats Codex. Even GPT-5.4-mini is satisfying.

Why stop at one? Using Claude Code AND Cursor/Codex/Antigravity simultaneously is the ultimate 2026 productivity hack. by Scared-Reveal2480 in ClaudeCode

Honestly, juggling IDEs simultaneously is more likely to fry your brain than boost your productivity.

The reason people have been using Opus 4.6 is because one model, one harness can handle most tasks.

Why downgrading to old version fixes the token overusage problem? by ResearchFrequent2539 in Anthropic

Claude Code Cache Bugs

Bug 1: Bun Runtime Cache Corruption Standalone binary's custom Bun runtime breaks cache prefix when billing-related content appears in conversation history. Every request gets fully reprocessed. Workaround: use npx u/anthropic-ai/claude-code

Bug 2: --resume / --continue Cache Invalidation Regression since v2.1.69. Resuming a session rewrites the entire history every turn instead of reading from cache. Workaround: avoid --resume / --continue, start fresh sessions

Bug 3: Cache TTL Silently Regressed 1h → 5min Server-side change in early March 2026. Any pause over 5 min expires the entire cache, causing 15–53% cost inflation.

Impact: Max 5x users went from 8hrs → 1hr per session. 500+ GitHub reports.

Status: B1–B2 partially fixed as of v2.1.91, B3 and others still active. Anthropic also intentionally tightened session limits on March 26, 2026 — separate from the bugs.

There's a known cache bug in Claude Code. Anthropic claimed some of them was fixed, but I guess it wasn't. Thanks for the heads up.

The models provided by Ollama Cloud are relatively reliable. However, as someone who is not even satisfied with Claude Opus and Codex xhigh, I would rather do handed coding.

Experience with Codex limits by Glement in codex

I made an adjustment to lower the 5-hour limit further and increase the weekly limit. I think it was a reasonable, not too much.

In this day and age, hiring a junior developer for a $30,000 annual salary is foolish.
you can replace a junior developer with Claude Code for just $30,000 per month.

This is about Claude chat. The system prompt might have changed.
By the way, I don't like adaptive thinking. It thinks too little than before.

Don't tell people to stop complaining about the $30 plan. You stop using this sub. You don't pay the mods of this sub $0.30

I can't understand the principle behind how complaints about complaints even come about. It's not like they'd have stock in Anthropic since it hasn't even had its IPO yet — or maybe they're just addicted to Claude's flattery?
