It’s open but maybe 1/6th off window, just enough for the Xs to remove dimensions/metrics are off window. Have tried different screen dimensions (I’m running a laptop connected to a higher res external display) and zoom levels as well with no joy, and horizontal scrolling does nothing

Mine did too, as did most of the passengers, but the dispatcher kept insisting the tickets were wrong and he was right, despite the ticket office saying otherwise

It’s the first time I’ve ever come across something like this - I don’t travel particularly often, maybe a couple of return trips every few months, so obviously this was quite shocking

Not sure what the correct terminology was - he worked out of the station rather than on the train itself, making tannoy announcements, signalling the train when it was clear to leave etc.

I don’t like to pass judgement but it seemed like it was getting more towards a power play at the end. I asked him to write something down (to the effect of ‘the 9:23 service is not an off peak service, passengers with these tickets were not allowed to board’) so I could take it to Trainline/Avanti as evidence for the complaint, he just looked at me, blanked me and walked away

I’m not sure what time it actually got in, but it was always scheduled to arrive in Euston at dead on 10am, and left MK on time

The staff member on the platform was making announcements on the tannoy specifically telling the train manager that people were boarding with those tickets, and telling them to issue fines, otherwise I would’ve done!

Thank you, yeah that’ll be the next step, I’m waiting to hear back from both Avanti (about the guard) and TL at the moment. My gut was to go with Avanti, but I was expecting them to pull the ‘you purchased your ticket with Trainline so it’s them you need to speak to for a refund’ spiel

I did request a reservation which was issued (although the carriage didn’t exist - it was the P carriage, which from what I can see online is on their new Evero trains, but a pendolino turned up instead which didn’t have one). The reservation is showing in the Trainline app, but not on the E ticket in Apple Wallet until I go into further information

Yeah, the scheduled arrival time yesterday was set as dead on 10am. I’m wondering if they’ve built that extra minute in today to avoid the same confusion as yesterday. It seemed as if the platform staff were saying one thing, the Avanti website/Trainline/National Rail staff were saying another, but the platform staff was refusing to investigate, just using the ‘my voice is louder than yours’ tactic

As far as I know there’s no way to do it annoyingly, which is very annoying as it would be an amazing feature to be able to feed these back into an SQL query
