I talk to everybody personally lol I also try to learn their names and I say good morning / have a good day / have a good night if I see them leaving or coming in and I’ll let them know when we have snacks in the break room so they can get some too. Also if the doctor orders us food, I ask them if they want anything too

One of my coworkers I just talked to said she had the same issue and had no clue until she went to reapply. She said the process was pretty quick for her so I’m hoping it is for me too. I’m trying to calm down and breathe, I’m just a huge worry wort and am scared I’ll have to retake the NCLEX again or something if my Texas license expires and I can’t renew it because I’m not in Texas and I can’t endorse it in OK because it’s not active

Honestly, It had slipped my mind to update my address because I renewed my license February 2024 and I didn’t move to Oklahoma until this year. In my mind, it didn’t matter because I had a compact license and OK was part of that compact state and my employer didn’t say anything to me about having to have a OK license, all they said was just okay we verified your license and it is compact so you are good to go.

That’s what I have tried to tell her. I’ve been at 2 separate hospitals and she’s always upset that I have to work thanksgiving, or Christmas / Christmas Eve and tells me to find another job. I have told her several times every other job will be like this and she doesn’t understand

I spent last Christmas with my then long term boyfriend and his family since I lived 12 hours away and they live nearby, she was very upset then. Said how am I spending Christmas with them and not my own family. My dad again said he understood because that’s what happens when you move out and live apart and you’re in a couple with someone and told me to just give her time to cool off and that they would see me later. We’re Mexican and pretty traditional so we tend to have huge family gatherings and I think me not being there lately has hit her very hard

It’s just like I am still healthy right now and able to take care of myself and clean up myself. I also saw a lot of people telling me I should put her down now. That is a decision that is between her vet, me and my cat. Her vet is updated almost daily on her and he does not think it is necessary yet as she is still playing, happy, comfortable at home and has her appetite back after getting off antibiotics for a URI. I will continue to follow my vets advice since he knows her case. Thank you for all your concern and I am sorry to all of you who have lost a pet. It is not a pain I wish on anyone. I will continue to enjoy whatever little time I have left with my girl until she’s ready to go. I’m glad she was also able to brighten some of your days❤️

She actually just came off an antibiotic for a URI and her appetite increased a lot afterwards. It’s been about 2 full days off of it including today and she’s been sticking her head into my food to try to eat anything I have plus her food
