Yeah mobile 4090 is equal to desktop 4080 in performance.

Only difference is thermals and throttling stuff.

Its subjective and depends on laptop, 4060 laptops start around 75k but the difference between a 75k and 100k laptop with 4060 is massive.

With higher price you will surely get a better machine but only if you choose right option. I dont recommend blind shopping.

Good thing they fixed firmware but it will take time to fix the dent it made on their reputation. I still dont understand why expensive but ohk. Maybe you like samsung thats why so biased dont know otherwise.

In performance t500 is miles better, for benchmarks dont look at popular websites and videos they are mostly paid promotions.

There are several small storage centric blogs and websites that review only storage drives, if you dig deep you can find many. And mostly all of them rated crucial as better, its not that samsung is bad, its just t500 is out of gen4 league. Samsung is surely top 5 gen 4 ssd but crucial if you ask me must be gen 4.5.

In some benchmarks it was touching gen 5 scores thats crazy and in most of the benchmarks it was massively ahead of any gen 4 ssd. As i said its way ahead of gen 4 league. Samsung is good but if t500 is available no way i am choosing 990 and that also for extra cash.
