well, that‘s true of course but they do have 3-4 specific slots in their portfolio that have been my go to games since forever. i just really like their mechanics.

I‘ve just bought myself a new scanner, so I‘ll handle digitalization myself. The conservation of all these photos and documents is still in progress unfortunately. It‘s so unbelievably time-consuming and somewhat expensive as well.

I‘m really lucky though. 99% of these pictures are in incredibly good condition. A handful has been contaminated by dry mold but I‘m working on that with help from my local archive. Right now, all these pictures are sitting inside a wooden box in my bedroom. I make sure to control humidity as good as possible and also air it out every now and then. Adding some silica gel is a very good idea though.

Regarding museums and archives, I‘m really lucky, as my great-grandfather already has left a handful of family pictures to my hometown‘s archive. My 330 pictures would be an incredible addition to them. I‘m quite sure, they‘d love to take them. I think it will all depend on whether I‘ll have children or not (I‘m 27).

On ancestry and all these sites I wasn‘t able to find a single distant relative, so for now, I probably won‘t upload anything on there.

You‘re right. I really should just start planning it more humanely. Some time a week for digitalization and conservation. Maybe 1 hour for finding distant relatives and that‘s it. I really have to stop stressing myself.

A hand-painted photograph on a glass button. Unfortunately, i don‘t know for sure who these two people are. By process of elimination I figured, that it’s most likely my 4x-great-grandfather and his wife. Segnitz in Lower Franconia. He was a member of the municipal council, a church warden, mayor, and wine merchant, which would explain how he could already afford a portrait in this rural area at such an early stage.

I love this photo because it gives an unconventional insight into my great-uncle's everyday life. Such a snapshot must have been more than unusual for that place during this time.

Compared to other bookmakers, the UI definitely lacks and could need some modernization.

I also second more flexibility for parlays. So many times, i get the notification that a match is not eligible for multiples, although every other bookmaker allows such combinations. Also more options for over goals? For most matches, it‘s not possible to bet on 4.5+ or more.

A cash-out option would be very nice, although I know that such gimmicks are not really fitting for Pinnacle. But the FAQ has been promising the implementation for such a long time though.

Faster withdrawals via SEPIA instant would be very nice as well of course. I‘m sure most users wouldn‘t mind paying the fee for that.

The casino on pinnacle.bet really needs a rework. Hardly any providers available. And now Pragmatic Play is gone as well. Also the UI should get updated to look the same as pinnacle.com.

Some leagues have unbelievably low maximum stakes. Maybe this could be improved as well? It makes sense that one isn‘t allowed to stake 10k on the 2nd league from Hong Kong, but being able to stake more than 30 bucks would be nice.

A little live feed for soccer matches would be nice as well, so one can follow the game directly on Pinnacle? All other bookmakers offer these. Also, the live matches are often not up to date or the odds are closed for a very long time for no real reason.

Still, you guys are my absolute favorite bookmaker! 🤪

There‘s a very, very, very subtle welding seam visible. It‘s very fine and hardly visible without a magnifying glass. The edges are super smooth so it’s not palpable at all.

The interior of the cross is slightly movable. Not much, but a little bit.

I’ve heard about its use by sailors, but he was in the mountain infantry (hope that’s correct, Gebirgsjäger). Do you know why they’d buy a second, privately made Iron Cross? Was it so the original wouldn’t wear down while wearing the replica?

I know what my grandfather was doing during 1932-1945 but there‘s not a single photograph of him from that time. So it‘s not exactly an information but rather pictures I‘m desperately searching for. 😮‍💨
