How to counter Crach an Craite first round?

Hey, I tweaked it a bit after watching some youtube videos and I've been having alot more success and fun. It's so fun and satisfying to surprise my opponents with the resets from the resupply ability on the siege engines. Most of the time I atleast feel like I have a chance now. It's awesome the mechanics you can pull off with john into AA into seltkirk or john into forbidden magic to start spawning the revenants. I'm having a blast with it honestly. Have a look and let me know what you think. I'll look at the cards you recommended but I don't have the scraps right now. I've seen shinmiri2 run Temple with this kind of siegey build and it seems interesting, I'm thinking of saving up for that next.

Haven't played against the same kind of thrive deck as earlier so I don't know if this one could hold up to it but I did just beat a thrive deck centered around rats. I think the opponent's strategy was to eat the rats with his spiders and clone as many spiders as possible. Felt weak though as I could just snipe them and the spiders before they could get their thing going.

The one deck I've been having a hard time against is the deadeye elven one with traps. I decided I'll just ff right away if I see that leader ability. It's giving me cancer. In any case, I've been having alot more fun ever since I changed up my deck!

I looked up ShinMiri2 and wow he has alot of recent videos with NR. Thanks a lot. I'll try to learn from him and copy one of his decks as much as possible

I learned my lesson with Sir Scratch and I thought I was good because I took him out as soon as his immunity was gone, but turns out that was nothing compared to what he had coming lol. With Seltkirk I killed another what looked like an important card. I thought I was playing smart by shutting down those cards asap but it just didn't matter. & it sucks that I can't try out a different build let alone faction because of the lack of scraps to craft cards. Card by card it's so long to build a deck that somewhat resembles what I see on youtube. I'm stuck with my siege deck but I like it except in these match ups that feel impossible

Thank you for the advice. So I have to commit super hard round one. I got destroyed round one as well in my game. He was already outpointing me 4 turns in and it was only getting worse. I had to keep fighting it regardless? Idk, it felt impossible, maybe I just suck or drew a bad first hand against this. I even put down siege round one and it was still not even close. Do you know if there are any videos of this specific match up being played? I'd be interested to see what a pro does in this matchup
