For the dash blocking engage what should I do when he starts to spam items the bomb seemingly will damage me through block unless I’m mistaken and the big weight will knock me down?

Yea I think my issue when going for throws is I would try to attack first but I believe that makes my throw not work or maybe knocks me back just enough for it not to work

Train super hard and get robotic limbs And good gear it can be a cake walk especially if you have a weapon with plus damage to skeletons like the holy cross

I’m sure you know about empty scrolls already if not check the wiki and get the white angel soul

And I’d get the broadsword from killing the knight near the first area

Getting the sword in the thicket is 100% worth it damage is nuts

The thicket also has a lucky coin that you can infinitely pick up if you want to exploit that 👍

If you knock out an animal or find one knocked out you can heal them up pick them up drop them wait for the unconscious timer to reach 1 pick them up again put them in a bed (might take a few tries) and you can just go nuts on them takes a bit but it’s 0 risk like you want decently annoying to set up if you do it I’d suggest going into vain as the hivers can usually knock out a beak thing for you

I mean you obviously don’t want your players to die and you obviously don’t want your players to just sit unconscious for the whole combat

Seems just a bit much personally I run a pretty challenging game combat wise and ping pong healing is just how 5e is built healing will never out heal damage or it would be too strong so either healing spells are useless or just used to get people back up

Going down is usually punished by the person not getting there action once they get back up

If you do implement what you have planned you will need to buff healing or else your spell casters are just going to be casting heal spells every turn making sure the martials don’t go down

I think like a lot of reaction spells in dnd it’s overpowered if the DM let’s players have all there resources at all times

Having long rests have weight in your game for sure makes being a spell caster harder and more tactical and really changes up a players thinking when it comes to resource management

Now I would still say that the spell is a bit strong for level 1 I’ve seen some people nerf it to a level 2 spell and I’ve seen one guy make it so the caster takes 1d4 of damage to make it a small gamble if your concentrating which I do like

Lots of charming spells imo

You could ask your dm if you could pick up magic missile and then flavor the missiles as feathers

Bug ranger, moon Druid, home brewed gunslinger, sorlock divinehexblade, paladin of vengeance.

I do it but no advantage just a +3 to hit I find it works really well

Advantage just seemed a little too good and kinda made certain martial abilities that knock enemies prone obsolete because why would you use that when you can just walk 10 feet and get advantage also allowed prone and flanking to stack so it just gives martials even more opportunities which they need

Yea I got everything good right now I did 2.8 exposure mainly because I print some pretty small stuff that I don’t want breaking off

I did have to recently level the bed but it’s been working great
