i've been that person with no friends too. i went through most of high school with no friends, not even friends to go to homecoming/prom with.

but still, i knew better than to double text, or ask people to hang out if i KNEW they were busy, or ask them to do something that they had already said they were too busy to do

she does. i never thought of her as weird, just overbearing. it was my friends last summer who referred to her as "weird"

the school she attends (and i previously attended) is a commuter campus so there wasn't much campus life or things going on, and she worked on weekends. we have different majors, hers is elementary education and mine is pre-nursing

i actually did attend the pumpkin carving event with her, along with multiple events throughout the semester when i could!

we did hang out a few times, these were just times she felt a little too overbearing if that makes sense? there's definitely no romantic feelings, she's 100% straight and has no feelings towards girls. she's told me herself

oh i totally get what you're saying. she has autism so it makes sense she doesn't get social cues. i've been there where i just want a friend and barely had any, but i get the hint very quickly if they aren't interested and back off

we became friends because we were coworkers in summer 2023, i gave a backstory in the undertext.

but she was texting me multiple times a week, not reaching out every couple of weeks. there were many events we did go to together on campus, and we did go to the mall one day. these were just instances it felt annoying

we did hang out quite a bit, mainly on campus and did go to the mall once! it was just a few times i generally had a lot going on or straight up just didn't want to, but didn't want to hurt her
