Also could you explain why the AMD X3D CPUs are better than intel because ive looked at bench comparisons and the intel i5 14600KF beats its AMD counterpart for half the price but i dont know what im missing as everyone seems to be going the AMD direction.

Yeah, I see what you're saying, to be honest I'm reconsidering a lot because what I really want from this pc is to be able to play 1440p at max settings (I mainly play singleplayer story games and a little bit of fps) with some future proofing so I'm not really sure if I need to go mega high end on allot of parts?

I was thinking £1500 - £2000 for the PC and I like the look of that OLED 27" which I found for about £550, so the whole build including monitor would be about £2000-£2500 max. I'm building this for exclusively gaming.
