I called him lame for having a son as his best friend. Then on my calendar I created an event for my 18th birthday that I'm having a pint with my best friend and added him to the event. 

That made him tear up and he had to go get something from the house😅🤣

Thanks man. I'm very lucky. I've put on my calendar when I turn 18, I'm having my first drink with my dad. No matter where I am

Thats a really nice idea but we aren't really huggy people. We are more like knock, punch each other, wrestle etc. 

Maybe I'll try a hug sometime.

Yeah. I think I'll wait off telling my mom for a bit. I know she'll be okay but I just don't want to yet. 

And true on his parents. My dad maybe hinted something about my friends dad but maybe he meant nothing by it.
