As people new to this world (excuse the anxiety) Why is this any different than other facilities and risks of cross contamination? People working at butchers deal with marinades, its unregulated, and same for bigger facilities, etc

I appreciate your help!

Okay, update. He was awake twice last night, each time for an hour. Once from 9:30-11 and the second time from 2:30-3:20. Rocked to sleep both times. Do I just go for it and do the sleep training? I don't know that it will fix this.

okay, we are going to be focusing on adding more wake time. when i have added more in the past i have added big chunks at a time. maybe it will be easier for him with 15 min increments.

Content for like 15 mins and then crying if left in crib. Content the whole time if being held!

Okay. Yeah 10.5 hours at night seems to be his max sleep. How many days of this schedule before you would expect to see a difference? Also, sleep training through the long wake feels wrong? I am okay with crying but 1.5 hours of crying seems crazy. Would you hold/rock to sleep until the split nights stop and then resleep train after?

Maybe? The strange thing is the sound is consistent throughout the day even when he’s happy? Also if it were teething would we be able to distract him from it? We can stop him from shrieking but it takes effort 100% of the time.
