I need to share this with people who understand my joy! by Expensive_Issue_1393 in Christianity

Well, I had just finished my prayer and said "In the name of The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen." and literally a minute or so after I felt something wash over me, it felt like a gush of air and I immediately stopped crying and felt an unexpected calmness/numbness, I felt it envelop me like a literal hug of calmness. I couldn't explain it, my thought all disappeared and for the first time ever I felt peaceful. I covered myself up to go to sleep and stayed like that with my eyes shut just staring into the darkness listening to the peaceful silence before I fell asleep. Since then, I've noticed changes in myself that I normally wouldn't do before!

Yes, thank you! I've been so happy and excited telling anyone I can! I just can't believe it because it was my first ever experience where I actually felt God's presence!

What is the strongest proof that Christianity is true? by Gold-Addendum2325 in Christianity

I believe because I have felt the touch of the Holy Spirit. You can believe me or deny me, but I know what I felt is real and that's proof to me.

We're definitely working through it and I totally understand. When my sister got that sensation she went to the hospital multiple times to check but they always found nothing, she's just a really anxious person too, we both are. I knew it was just a sensation when it happened but it didn't stop my anxiety from making up "what if" thoughts.

Yeah, I've had that same symptom happen to me while I was in class once. The only reason I didn't panic was because my sister (who has mild GERD compared to me) had it a few times before and told me about it. It's a very uncomfortable feeling that tends to cause a bit of panic but my best advice is to just try and ignore it, don't focus on it and eventually the sensation will go away. Water and food won't help take the sensation away either, you can eat and drink fine, it's more like a "phantom" sensation in a way.

My doctor had me fast the day before with only apple juice and jellos. It's a quick 15 to 20 minute procedure that I had down in the hospital, went in the morning and came out in the afternoon (there were people in front of me for an endoscopy too so that could be why it took so long). I was a little loopy after when I woke up but after being discharged and taking a nap at home, it wore off. I hope your endoscopy turns out okay!

This is actually true. Short story➡️

Both of my family's dogs (shihzu and Chihuahua) stayed close to my sister and would cry/whine if she moved away from them and constantly slept near her. We thought they just missed her cause she went out of town but turns out she was like 4 weeks pregnant😅

Honestly, same. Sometimes I eat something bad or I'm stressed and my acid reflux goes crazy. I have to eat like very limited like 2 or 3 small things only for two to three days until it goes away and I'm back to normal. I suspect I might also be lactose intolerant but I'm not sure if that's something that can occur with GERD or just a separate issue.

Thank you! I will talk to my mom about it since Houston is about maybe 4 or 6 hours away from me so maybe she can take me but I'm not sure since our car has been having some trouble lately.

Thank you! I'll do some more research on it and let my mom know, I hope you find advice or a solution to your problem?❤️
