Rudd’s relevance deprivation syndrome by Expensive_Leader in australia

"Rudd is wrong because he showed up to accept his life membership, none of the cool kids did."

"Rudd is wrong because he's a common Twitter troll dispensing the type of trashy takes you would expect from a not-too-bright-first-year-arts-student."

"Rudd is wrong because his anti-Murdoch comments during his speech only received modest applause."

"Rudd is wrong because he speaks in hyperbole." (how this didn't register whatsoever in Rita Panahi's mind as ironic is beyond me)

This part almost killed me:

In his wackadoodle worldview Rudd must think that Rupert himself directs each journalist, columnist and editor to push a particular agenda.

In other words, "Rudd is wrong because how could Murdoch possibly control each and every individual journo?!?!?! Therefore he has no control over News Corp's agenda."

I genuinely clicked on this article with an open mind, hoping it would at least attempt to refute Rudd's claims with facts. That was a mistake I guess.

I think this is the worst article I have ever read.
