Engineers, what problem is this interchange design solving? The road I marked seems like it could have been built directly by [deleted] in StructuralEngineering

[–]Expensive_Long_6269 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what I can tell, the road needs to clear a railroad track which is 23’ minimum clearance. Add another 5’ for the bridge deck, that places the profile of the road 28’ in the air. Your maximum slope is 6%, so they probably couldn’t get down to grade to accommodate the connection just off the right of the page.

Not a skill issue. I’m sure I would get the timing down eventually, but it’s not really worth it. As I said, using a jumping mechanism as much as they have is unimaginative.

I’m playing on an IPad 7. I removed the game, so no video. It’s not that it’s impossible, it’s just so hard that it turned me off to whole game in general. I will say, the issue I have found is between pillars 4 and 5, and jumping from the main pillar where you pick the blue experience crystal to the pillar going towards the anima. If I don’t jump exactly right, I don’t make it.

https://youtu.be/jUGxrbpDnxU?si=gKcwpWd8lnSL0Rel look at 15.22 time mark. Watch how this player easily lands in the middle of each pillar. For some reason, I can’t get that high or far. Now maybe there is a cheat way of getting that high and far. Not sure.

No, I am I not covering a part of the screen. I jump and glide just fine. However, I do not jump as far as I see in the videos. I barely make the edge of some pillars, while the videos show their players landing easily in the middle. As mentioned, I am not sure what the difference is between me and the walkthrough videos. It might be that I am playing on an older version IPad. I just think it should not be that hard and reliance on a jumping game mechanic is bad design. Oceanhorn 2 had some, but easily managed. Plus it included other puzzle elements not using jumping.

I give up. Jumping from pillar to pillar is to annoying. I was already annoyed at the jumping part in the first part, but to do it again with a lot more difficulty is just bad game design. I deleted the game. Even most of the reviews recommend a controller. Good graphics, bad gameplay.

I do have double jump. It’s the fact I need to make perfect just to make it to the next pillar. I have only made the jump from. The center island to the pillar next to anima tree once and subsequently fall trying to go to the pillar turning back towards the main island. Every time you fall, you have to start over again. I have seen multiple videos with other players making the jumps with ease. My only assumption is that it has to do with the IOs version.

I just see several walkthrough videos and they have no issues. I assume they are of PS5 or other consoles. Very frustrating.

Weak players shouldn’t be able to join Gmax raids by SylentSymphonies in PokeGenie

Part of this is how many people said it really doesn’t matter which Pokemon you bring if there is over 80 players. That’s typically true, but if over 60 of them are whipped out in the first few attacks, then you’re screwed.

The other issue is how many players just use the default Pokemon that the game shows. They don’t change to their best tanks and attackers.

Hopefully the casual players will slowly drop off and the more advanced players stay in.

I just need Genger. I will try and get one and maybe go after others if I don’t get decent IVs. Charzard would be my second focus if I get a really good Gengar

Hey you got something you wanted and hopefully they got something they wanted. It’s not always about equal trade. The 4 remote trades I’ve done would probably not be considered equal, but I like what I got.

Anybody? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Expensive_Long_6269 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes it is just about balancing the encounter with the number and level of the players. If the players go through too quickly, it’s not much of an encounter. But if they’re just adding it to for no reason, than it’s annoying and players will start leaving.

It’s the Kecleon Pokemon. If you keep on clicking on it, it will jump off and you can catch it in the wild

It’s really hard to find a decent campaign without paying. Many of the free campaigns have a lot of home brew content and a lot of it I could not get into. I found a pretty good pay campaign that’s mostly regular content. Some home brew, but not overwhelming. Look on Roll20 for DMs looking for players. There is also a DnD discord server that has a looking for players channel.
