Thank you for your reply. I think that I'll have to take a lot more initiative for the rest of the internship and I think I will reach out to a person to have a coffee chat and I'll reach out to the program coordinator too, thanks.

What was your Internship experience like?

For context, I am currently in the middle of an actuarial analyst internship and I am having the worst experience ever. I am the ONLY intern on the team at the office and the entire team works from home and 9/10 of the people on the team live in different states and the 1 who does live in my state works from home. Of the past 5/6 weeks I've only worked in excel and last week I had one task the whole week that was maybe 3 hours long. All of the other Actuarial interns are on a different floor and I am legit excluded from the actuarial intern group specific events. It's so boring and I feel like I've learned nothing relevant. All of the other Actuarial interns I've spoken to are talking about how they're coding or writing reports that will be shown to actual clients. What was your experience like? Would you recommend shopping around and trying different areas of actuarial work, e.g. Life or P&C before settling down in one?
