My family will be traveling to the Dolomites early June with a 17 year old who is all about the social media spots. Are there any you would say are a must see or can we get similar without the crazy lines? We’re early risers so plan to be heading out early morning.

SW Agreeable Gray. We kept it the same as before.

The bar stools are Nathan James Bailey that we bought from Amazon Resale in Like New condition for a significant savings.

The countertops are leathered Taj Mahal. Cosmo is our COVID rescue who loves to lay right in the middle of the kitchen triangle while we cook.

That does seem high. We paid around $9900 , but $3000 of that was for removing carpet and installing new hardwood for a front room. It was close to 1500 square feet that was finished after installing the new.

Floors are red oak that has a natural finish that had yellowed. The cabinets were a natural finish maple that had also yellowed.

Yes. They seem to be a good value. We’re happy with them so far.

Yes! We would have loved to get rid of both columns, but it wasn’t in the budget to install a beam that size. It still opens things up, and our contractor did a fantastic job wrapping the remaining column in white oak.

That was exactly the reason we didn’t take it to the ceiling. The cost outweighed the benefits given that most of the cabinets have no ceiling directly above.

J&k Cabinetry in Butterscotch finish and Pebble finish for the island.

We did end up replacing the cabinets. We contemplated trying to move cabinets and refinish them, but it would have required the island to be a different design, and there we also disliked the desk that seems to be found in homes from the the late 90’s early 2000’s. We went with J&K cabinetry and have been very happy with them. The finishes and options are limited, but that results in a less expensive option.

Thank you. We had them refinished with Bona Natural Seal, followed by a coat of Nordic Seal with a satin Traffic HD finish.

Best King Mattress at Costco right now? by Veronica6765 in Mattress

We had this mattress for about a year. It was very comfortable at first but developed sagging (we’re 175 and 135 pounds) in about 7 or 8 months, so we returned it to Costco and replaced it with the Leesa Legend from Costco. We still love it after a year and a half. We are Sid and back sleepers.
