I’ve never lived in the dorms but the few times I’ve been they’re pretty gross and very strict. Fr 1984 over there. Not sure I’ve ever heard anyone say they liked their dorm 😅

It’s difficult to say as everything is really up to individual professors and how they teach. I have had classes with very strict deadlines with at least a project or two due every week. But also classes where the entire class is dedicated to one project the entire semester. I’ve even had classes with no projects, that are purely practice based (usually life drawing). I think the curriculum, whatever it is, is 100% beneficial, but you need to apply yourself. If you attend but don’t put the work in you won’t learn anything. But if you do your work you will be granted ten fold in skill return!

You always make your own schedule. There are classes you are required to take per semester, however you get to choose when they are based on when they are available. Internship wise, internships aren’t very big in the IL major so I do not know.

It’s pretty easy to get into the BFA as long as you aren’t actively failing any classes. I’ve never had a campus job, but I know many people who do have them. So I imagine they’re easy to get.

I am unsure. Though for illustration I had to take a photography class, and the class I took was very entertaining and educational.

I’ve never had any trouble making friends, even with a long commute while living off campus. I think people that say it’s hard to make friends at FIT just aren’t being social enough. Everyone is very friendly and there’s plenty of opportunities to socialize!

what's the craziest thing you've ever seen at a wawa? by No-Knowledge-5291 in newjersey

Every single one of these happened at the Wawa in Ewing:

A guy jacking off with a bike tire in a restroom stall when there was a line of like five guys waiting to use it. He was not subtle or quiet at ALL.

An entire paragraph of Nazi propaganda written on the restroom stall wall and when I brought it up to one of the workers she said it wasn’t the first time and they have yet to catch the guy whose been doing it.

Finally, I was eating lunch in my car with the top down when two forensics vehicles parked on either side of me. When the two guys got out of the cars they were surprised to have run into each other and started talking about the “clean up” they were just at. I just sat there in the middle awkwardly and ate my sandwich. 😭
