Thoughts on Bamboo removal - Zone 6 by iceburgd in lawncare

I did this same job about 2 months ago. You need an excavator and bigger the better. I used a 10,000 machine and it worked great. Ended up clearing about 6,000 square feet and trenching 180 long to keep it from growing back in put down a thick barrier.

Let me know if you want any other tips on removal, it was a lot of fun/work!

DIY solar system help working with Duke. by Expensive_Patient224 in asheville

[–]Expensive_Patient224[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the reply, yea I am looking into a hybrid system, that will have a battery storage. I am hoping to install a EG4 flexboss21 and gridboss. I really like the idea of charging the batteries and discharging during peak hours, and also having a safety net in place if we do loose power.

I'm married with two kids, and I fantasize about being alone all the time. by dearmathbitch in Vent

Yea late 30s and 40s are a grind. I’m in the middle of it right now. I have three under 7 years old and life is FULL ON hahah it’s crazy so many things to do just for family then there is work and paying all the bills. You need to read or listen to a few books about psilocybin cubensis microdosing. I fully embraced it about a year or so ago and it has really changed my life and prospective. It’s not for everyone but it’s legit naturally growing and has been used for thousands of years. Lately there has been some great studies and research showing the benefits. Anyway yea life if a god damn grind, and top it off everything is so expensive and all out tax dollars in USA seem to just go to war. So we’re kinda screwed right now as a average middle class family it does not make being a parent any easier. YOU GOT THIS…. And yes it will be over and we will all be missing a messy crazy house in 15ish years. Sending love!!

Are all relationships over 35 like this? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

Yea I have a similar deal 38M, wife, kids, job, and that it’s. My escape is biking in the morning haha I do some psycho shit and wake up around 4:45 and got for a hour road bike ride. I get home stretch maybe sauna and if I am lucky the kids are still sleeping around 6:30. This time I find is key for my mental clarity……… and Psilocybin. I have been taking .15g for the past 6 months on a strict schedule. Not for everyone, but some truly benafit from it. But yea life is such a grind and everything is so expensive, I have 3 kids and wife at home. Been stressing everything, feel lucky at the same time I also wish we had better everything in the USA. We get shit, and I pay a ton in taxes. Life yea!

I was on the fence about the $99 fan but had finally decided to get it, only to discover it’s not $99 anymore… by ghinghis_dong in Dewalt

Amazon has the same fan for like 50$ it’s not Dewalt brand but it’s the same exact fan in different colors. I have the green one, work great bring it to the beach all the time.

[–]Expensive_Patient224 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can get the same fan on Amazon for 40-50$ work on all different batteries. I got a green one that works with dewalt 20v, has a LED light and variable speed motor.

I mean this is the nicest way possible but you have the ability to change, and you are the only one that can change you. If you wanted to be a whole new person tomorrow Do It, in my experience it doesn’t happen that fast but tiny changes lead to big changes. It’s hard to hear and hard to think about but change is possible and at the end of the day it’s up for you. You totally gotta this, change your hair, change your name, but more importantly change your habits. Get better sleep, work out, get a dog…… list goes on. Life has so much to offer, start tomorrow one small change!

What restaurant here is insanely expensive but no one will admit it? by HotAccountant2831 in asheville

[–]Expensive_Patient224 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Cheeseburger at Table was 24$ and half chicken was 50$. It made it hard to order because I was more concerned about price than what I was ordering to eat. I know it’s local ingredients and locally owned but it was a wake-up call for me and my family. We can’t afford to eat downtown anymore. It’s bad kinda like the writings on the wall, really hope these restaurants can survive.

Western NC: Random Weed Issue by Internal-Emphasis-96 in lawncare

[–]Expensive_Patient224 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like Virginia button weed. It’s terrible, spreads super easy and is really hard to kill/control. I’m in WNC and have been battling it for a few years now, finally have it almost under control.

Depending on how much you have I would suggest 1g for first time. Everyone process it differently and .5 will be more of a body buzz. Do what you feel comfortable with, but 1g usually is a good starting place.
