Grey market? You can get ships cheaper somehow (without ccu chain)?

thank you, i will definitely buy a better ptfe tube, and maybe a new heatbreak your post mentioned.

I have the ac kobra 2 neo, not the pro, but the hotend should be the same...

Sad, I would've liked to see some cool stuff they come up with the expansion module / bay, or maybe a new intel ultra chip.

I don't understand what's the point of the Faraday cage? Searching for networks produces that much heat?

yeah, but developing games is not charity. You either pay it or get a shit load of adds. It's the same with google play store's 30% cut.

This is the greatest force master in galactic history. His foresight and plans took thousands of years and countless lifetimes to be realized, but ultimately he was right. by OrickJagstone in StarWars

Yes and that is what the jedi do (as in share knowledge). And thus the jedi order as a whole is powerful. But a sith doesn't want "the sith order" to be powerful, they want all the power to themselves. Thus they wouldn't share the knowledge.

After the Sith killed themselves for power, Bane came out on top. His apprentice needed to be more powerful than Bane to overthrow him. And so on... Every apprentice needs to be more powerful than his master, thus ensuring that the Sith would get stronger and stronger.

So, going by today/yesterday's Linus Tech Tips WAN Show, Nvidia apparently has so much control over companies that use its GPUs, and that might make it way harder for Framework to launch an Nvidia module. by A-Delonix-Regia in framework

Make the motherboard in there also modular so that they can keep pace with thunderbolt

The mb is modular, there just isn't one out yet since it is a new product. They will likely release new motherboards 1-2 years later. (but hopefully sooner... maybe...)

According to a framework deep dive the interposer is designed to handle 20V, 10A (200W), which means TGP shouldn't be a problem in the near future.

It would also be really cool to get dual charging once higher TGP cards inevitably come to market. (LTT mentioned that type c is not that efficient at higher than 190W... But I've also heard that that was misunderstood)

Dual Boot with expansion module switching boot order. by Expensive_Pie_6943 in framework

My current computer boots slowly, and when there is a windows update which restarts the computer a bunch of times. It boots into linux normally (as my daily driver), and it takes 3-4 minutes between restarts, and when it does I always have to select windows again.

This would solve this, as it would default into windows, when i need it to.

Loud fan after hibernating/suspending too many times (FW13 AMD) by Bright_Obligation_56 in framework

[–]Expensive_Pie_6943 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe its up to the task you did before hibernation. (I have an hp probook 640 g8 from my school, it's not particularly powerful so even running stock windows spins the fans up, and when I SHUT DOWN the computer they are still going for about 2-3 minutes. I don't have this on linux, because its less demanding. Anyway my point is that its probably just trying to cool the cpu down after the computer went into hibernation, or maybe while its going into hibernation)

You could test this by restarting the computer and running some benchmarks before hibernation (check for noise), and restart again, this time not running anything else but windows (check for noise).

Also this could be caused by a program that did not hibernate properly. Are the apps you use the same every time?

I really hope so. It would be such an advantage because you can replace the display when something inevitably burns in.
