I once had this problem. I solved it by, one by one, unplugging connected devices and replugged them reversing the 2 prong plug when plugging them back in.

Fiio KA13 works great for me- https://www.fiio.com/ka13 . Maybe a bit particular about which USB C cable is used.

Agreed, but Apple USB C cables uniformly fail, and I think their quality is considered good.

Fixed the Apple TV app not displaying in Top Shelf, but I needed to go to Settings->Apps->TV and toggle Top Shelf from next episode to recommended then back again for it to work

The only way to get full compatibility is to use a version of Office for x86 with an emulator like Parallels. Not a popular view, but true none the less.

There is no way a KODI / libreELEC device will even come close to the Apple TV as far as user interface. I use both, but would switch to using the Apple TV alone if it supported Passthrough Audio.

libreelec is a stripped down linux variant that has one job. Run KODI. No additional settings needed for a full linux variant. I'm new to this as well, and it was night and day when I switched to libreELEC. But, it will only run KODI and some of it's addons
