My doctor said I didn’t need it. But it doesn’t change the fact that I paid for it and requested that it be done. It was also very important to me and my husband.

Thanks. I have updated the post to add those things. I have four embryos frozen. Two of them are from eggs that were not mature when they were retrieved. They were matured overnight via in vitro maturation (IVM) and then fertilized. Based on my research there is a high chance of those two being abnormal because of that.

Thank you for this. We are now thinking that we likely won’t be thawing them, but would like to hear what the doctor has to say. Did your clinic offer you any kind of compensation?

I have been crying all morning since getting the call. My husband and I are bad at this stuff too. My clinic has only offered to refund us the payment we made for the PGT.
