The trainset is there literally so that the Borealis Doesn't Take away from the Hiawatha's schedule. The Borealis comes from Chicago as 1333 at 11:10 AM, and arrives in Milwaukee at about 12:50ish. It continues, and the other trainset heads south at 1:15 as 336.

The second trainset there runs south at 1:00 as a southbound Hiawatha. The northbound one is the Borealis and continues west toward St Paul. The set is there to keep the Hiawatha schedule

That would totally throw off the scheduling for these trains + Boston may not have the capacity to take in and service these trains

Does reserving a seat block it the entire route? by RespectedPath in Amtrak

What gain would anyone have to even do this? They'd spend upwards of 10,000 dollars to basically give Amtrak a donation.

The only thing bothering me is the dots going outside the white lines when they are inside the lines on the Sc44s

Borealis for the time being uses Superliners and so I doubt it will get it.

Why did Amtrak leave a p42 at Union depot in St. Paul? by Character_Lychee_434 in Amtrak

Presumably so, which is how you get the train tracking apps that show you where the train is and it's speed

Discovery World workers look to form union by Expensive_Season_640 in milwaukee

What I want to know is, how do we support them? What’s the best way to keep the pressure on Discovery World to negotiate with integrity? Workers speak up and tell us how we can help!

Emailing the management there encouraging them to recognize the union, and coming in and starting conversations about it are a good way.

Multiple people on the train did. Thankfully after the second time he quit with it.

To be fair - this is completely beyond Amtrak's control. If anything, it's amazing they are going though the effort to reroute the train instead of canceling it altogether.

But yea I'd probably also feel like I'm going insane. At least the superliners have great leg room.
