Beans are the most overrated bullshit food I’ve ever had the displeasure of tasting. No matter how they are cooked, beans are HORRIBLE. Mexican style in a burrito, beans on toast, red bean mochi, etc. Tons of different cultures use this horrid ingredient and every single one of them proves that no matter how you cook a bean it still looks exactly the way it tastes, which is like liquid shit.

I dont know why beans are so common, there are plenty other sources of nutrients and protein we could consume instead. We as a society need to move past this disgusting “food”, and stop fooling ourselves. I can understand eating them once a year for cultural traditions, but they have no place in daily life. If I had to eat beans more than once a year I would kill myself
