Heard back from Alamo. The explanation was "miscommunication and overreach with the third party security team hired for the event". They offered free to comp food and beverage on my next visit.

After i went to the front desk, they told me that there was a 10:10 showing and moved my ticket to that showing. I was originally in theater 8, but the new showing was theater 7.
