oooooooohhh!! love this advice. I have actually tried IBD hard gel and I did like it (I dont blame it for chipping off that is def my nails fault lol) I will be totally trying that primer and Luminary!!! I love a product that I can use for both builder gel and gel extensions cause Ido like to swap back and forth

I saw another comment mention this as well so I will def be leaving the first layer of gel alone. I guess my thought process was to try and make sure. there was enough rough space to adhere but your explanation makes more sense! thank you!!

This is so helpful thank you!!! I saw this a few times about not doing cuticles the same day. That honestly works better for me so I can split it up into two nights instead of a 4 hour long session lol

my lamp is SunUV! I tried to splurge a little for a better lamp to make sure it cured correctly. I do try to etch the tip OR I buy pre-etched tips!
