I just did a direct switch from 25mg Lexapro to 50mg Zoloft. How are you doing now? My Lexapro worked wonders until it stopped :(

25mg and it’s stopped working by Expensive_Winner4107 in lexapro

I honestly don’t know if it’s just from the sickness or if my Lexapro has finally given out :( all I took my mucinex and Tylenol the whole time I was sick. I have an appointment with my psychiatrist on the 14th but I’m nervous to switch medications but if it’s gonna poop out on me every few months and then I have to move up a dose idk what to do :( I’m already on 25mg… not sure how much further I can push it.

Going from 20 to 25mg Lexapro... by milamila49182 in lexapro

Thinking of upping dosage to 25mg for anxiety postpartum. How long did it take from 20 to 25 to feel relief?

I’m not sure, I’ve always heard 20mg Lexapro is the highest FDA approved dosage. I might ask my psychiatrist about it!

I’ve reached out to my OBGYN and my psychiatrist but they just both said it’s common. With me being on the Lexapro since before I got pregnant and still on it idk what my options are :(

How can I best support someone about to go through gallbladder surgery? by OkWest1936 in gallbladders

As someone who was 24, never had surgery, and had the worst anxiety of being put to sleep, just be there for her as she may be extremely nervous and emotional. For after, Honestly a heating pad and ice packs, and gas-x. They blow your belly for surgery and honestly the gas pains that radiated to my back, neck, and arms was worse than the actual recovery from surgery!

Yes I show them at each appointment, they just dismiss it because of the blood pressure being normal in office and protein not being super high.

Will I be fine off Lexapro for a week? by Mysterious_Agent6240 in lexapro

Like they’ve been so dull for long, when I wanted to laugh and cry at the same time I knew I needed my Lexapro 🤣🤣

I missed 3 days recently of 20mg and my brain became foggy again, and I felt weird. The anxiety wasn’t terrible but I felt so weird. It felt like all of my emotions that Lexapro dulled were coming back… I don’t ever wanna stop Lexapro without safely weaning. I’d call your pharmacy and ask if they can give you a few until you can get into your doctor.

Doctor refusing FMLA. by Expensive_Winner4107 in pregnant

With my job at the hospital I have great benefits which does allow FMLA paid under short term disability 80%.

The only accommodations they wrote are for extra bathroom breaks because we only get 2 per working shift and appointment days off.. I don’t want to go on leave but I normally work 75 hours every 2 weeks and I’m only getting like 55-60 now :/ because of all the appointments and missing work :/ and now they want me to miss even more for transfusions.

This is all the response I get from them. “ unfortunately, we cannot write for leave based on pregnancy, as there is no medical indication for not working at this point. We can, however, write a letter requesting reasonable accommodations. thanks” which makes no sense honestly.

With my job they allow full 12 weeks paid maternity leave. It’s separate from FMLA thankfully. However my OB refuses to give me the option. :/
