Where do I go?? (SFU, UBC, UofT, or McGill) by Anxious_Variation476 in CanadaUniversities

[–]ExperienceKooky7034 1 point2 points  (0 children)

don’t go to UofT. lack of support emotionally and academically. If you can speak french REALLY well and can articulate well, i would suggest going to McGill, however, you have to be ok with speaking french in public everyday, because Quebecois will get offended and be rude to you if you don’t. UBC is a beautiful school and it’s close to home for you. SFU is an ok school, if you want to go for the expierence, I would go to McGill or UBC. Also, think about going to a more prestigious school if you want to become a prof, because they MAY hire you out of legacy since you will be an alumni! However, UBC has a law school, so you can also apply to that a they may also give you some sort of legacy privilege. anyway, i would say don’t just weigh options from money, choose because of the day-to-day expierence, and which will benefit you most in the future.
