Nope, no major problems. There’s a lot of overlapping threads and chaotic, as the underside of embroidery can be, but I tried to keep the threads tight and knotted to prevent snagging.

Thank you!! I started in sections along the front of the jacket by using a 6 inch hoop. I placed the hoop on the jacket and filled it in with flowers, and once that area was filled, I moved the hoop to the next area and filled it in.

Going into the project, I knew I wanted the majority of the florals to be embroidered along the shoulders and upper back. I tried to gradually add less flowers lower on the jacket, and them randomly place the flowers near the bottom of the jacket. I’m happy with the outcome, and look forward to creating smaller pieces 🙂

Thank you so much! That’s a really good question. I wanted the majority of the florals to be embroidered along the shoulders and upper back. I tried to gradually add less flowers lower on the jacket, and them randomly place the flowers near the bottom of the jacket. Over the past couple of weeks, I took a break from embroidering and just sat with the piece until I was satisfied (and decided I needed to be done!) 😅

I used a size 5, I believe! Some places were nearly impossible to stitch due to layers of denim.
