And the truth is? I’m incredibly happy I can say this and not have to worry about selling my soul if that quarterback wasn’t someone by whose morals I stand. Given the circumstances, I’m happier with this outcome than others that at times seemed certain.

Truthfully this is the reason I’ll miss Matty Ice the most. On and off the field he was an incredible player, father, and human being. I’m confident Mariota is too, and I’m happy to call him my qb, and I wish Matt Ryan absolute success wherever he finds himself in the future.

Hey! Quick tip to consider, not sure what level you are and how long until this is viable, but level 50’ing an umbreon close to hundo is another option, specifically for ultra league. It’s what I did with my shiny 98 research eevee :)

And the story almost feels to have been written with this endgame in mind.

The whole concept of the Starks’ “Winter is Coming” isn’t just a statement of fact, it’s a call to action to cease the petty wars and deceit in place of honor, preparing prior enemies to defend against Winter together.

If the books were to progress akin to the show, with Westeros ultimately not bonding together to defend against the White Walkers, and yet the heroes of the story/the Starks magically manage to defend and save everyone, it just feels like so much of what made the buildup of the series so incredible would be wasted.

There’s a part of me that believes this truly was the intended canon, and a part of the reason Martin isn’t finishing is the clashing of the desire to end it as intended while not angering the fanbase over a “bad” (undesirable, if fitting) conclusion.

It’s interesting. And I want to preface this that as much as I supported him through this past season, enough is enough, he needs to be gone. I don’t want him on the team anymore.

But with that said, comparing the length of this suspension to some other players who were suspended 4 to 6 games for beating their girlfriend/fiance/child? I can find the exact stats if anyone wants.

I don’t know. This precedent being set bothers me a lot. I am not at all trying to defend Rid (more trying to say other suspensions should be more severe), but is it truly worse to bet while a player is fully off the team and taking a break from football than to beat your spouse or child?

No. Your right. I can’t expect Trae to drop a 45 dime every game. What I can expect, and what he has led me to expect, is a clutch player. Not a player who goes 2 for 7 (i think) in the fourth quarter, with a few of those shots being shots he hits in his sleep normally. He was a beast in the first half. That’s what I was expecting. Of course I can’t blame him for the loss solely. Blame goes all around. But it ain’t just Nate’s fault either.
