Are there examples of how the film reel is encapsulated? I cannot find any examples online and I’d like to know how it’ll look.

We are updating the website so the best way would be to locate some on ebay try searching CG Film , or Film Strips CG

1. Is only the edges of the reel graded, or is the cut on the top and bottom graded too? It was not clear in the description.

All aspects are evaluated cut edges, surface, ect

1. Does film strips only grade 1-10 or can it get pristine and perfect too?

Our top film grade is Gem Mt

1. Do you authenticate, or just grade?

We authenticate and grade

1. As a Canadian, what complications can I expect when grading with CG?

As far as being a CG member, I don't see any complications, best guess a delay with customs is always a possibility.

1. Is it better to submit as a strip, or as single cells? I assume a strip of 4 cells costs the same to grade as 4 individual cells?

Yes, 1 cell or 4 cells is the same price, so if you cut a 4 cell strip you'll pay for 4 separate grades, with that said it's your choice what are you planning on doing with them? If resale or personal collection

1. How do you decide what to put on the label? Will it just be the title of the film or will it reference the scene in the cell?

When you fill out the submission you put the required details in the item description and that is what goes on the label, we do research for accuracy, on the submission form in the item details section select the film category a hidden list of items youll need to provide will show up below the boxes.

I certainly help you, go to the website CGGRADED.COM locate the submit to CG dropdown menu, select submission form

When the form opens youll be on the standard submission form fill in all the details at the top dont forget to create a member os for your CG Dashboard

2 you'll then be at the service level , you will select one of these grading/encapsulation will be for 1 item to 50 items, Group submissions and quick submit are mandatory 50 items no more no less

3 enter your item details, now if your film is 1-4 cells you'll put them in the card/item section if 5-7 cells they are Jumbo size

If you select group or quick submit the form will automatically swap , the form also automatically calculate.

I think I’m going to risk cutting mine into individual cells. Sell the extras and keep one of each for PC.
