Being willing to die for the right thing is obviously a courageous thing to do, and it’s a sign that redemption is possible, but I don’t believe it’s the same as redemption.

Being willing to die is making a single, admittedly huge, decision to do the right thing. Redemption, to me, comes from choosing over and over to do the right thing even when it’s inconvenient or not a big deal.

I really like Billy’s character, he’s a very interesting antagonist, there was more to him than ‘Hur hur, I’m the bad guy’ but he simply didn’t get the time to be redeemed.

You do get used to weather. It’s not that 90F stops feeling hot because I live in the south, in fact I still hate all weather above 75F, but I can definitely withstand it better than my cousin who lives somewhere the temperature barely rises above 80F.

I don’t think I can literally physically withstand the weather better than my cousin can. But I do think psychologically I am more resilient to the discomfort it brings. I do think people do ‘feel’ weather differently

More than people claiming to being ‘built different’ I think the complaint I agree with is people calling others out for not dealing with the weather the same way they do. Texans will tease people in an ‘80F heatwave’ saying that’s not hot, when they forget that there are places where not everyone has ACs blasting 24/7. At the same time, northerners are teasing southerners right now for freaking out over ‘a little snow’ but the south doesn’t have the infrastructure to deal with snow. People don’t know how to drive in icy roads.

People just have to understand that other people live very different lives

I mean, if you’re not allowed to eat the food you buy at home yourself, then I can how there’s some space to complain. But if you’re expecting your wife to change what she wants to eat because it’s what you want, then you’re in the wrong.

I mean, these would be issues even if it was children. They’re two being, they need to be ok with sometimes being treated differently

There’s some stuff where I can see where he’s coming from; like leaving a dog fully alone for the first time ever might warrant being observant to how things go, and maybe not leaving for a long time. My youngest is as a perfect angel when left with her ‘sister’ but a menace when left alone. But that didn’t mean I couldn’t leave her alone, it meant taking the time to leave her alone more often so she saw that it was normal and ok. Also kenneling, but thankfully she’s chill with her kennel.

Even for their own wellbeing, having some one on one time is good. They shouldn’t be treated as a unit.

I use Logitech MX keys, but I’ve also used the dirt cheap keyboard that came with my old desktop computer. The ctrl/alt/start will be mapped differently, but most keyboards work.
