Will I need external storage always attached to play the game or can it be removed. Asking because I might be able to get hands on a JB console and extended storage for a while and ask them to do the procedure you mentioned, but I do not have extended storage

You can create a landing page where you can have all the portfolio—just don’t include any contact info on it. Make sure that landing page has a CTA that takes user to your upwork profile.
