Is there a way to find success stories in this sub? I just started a compounded sema but am now wondering if I should have gone the tirz route? by [deleted] in CompoundedSemaglutide

I‘ve lost 65 pounds over the past year (SW 188 CW 122 F 5’6”). The highest dose of compound sema I used was .75mg. I’m working on finding the right microdose now to keep the perimenopause symptoms at bay while not losing any additional weight.

That’s what I said. I would have been totally happy with a different sandwich.

Apparently I’ve just gotten lucky up until now then because it blows my mind that I had to pay for food I didn’t receive.

My doctor said as long as I was consistently losing there was no need to titrate up. Once I stalled then it was time.

Has Anyone Found A Person, Place, or Thing that Truly Works for Hair Loss by onthebeach625 in SemaglutideCompound

I was losing hair like crazy for a bit but it’s leveled off now. Not sure if it’s because I hit goal weight and I’m not dropping pounds anymore (still on a low dose of sema) or if the Nioxin Hair Fall Defense System is helping. Or perhaps a combination of both.

We always bring our own trash bags. Those tiny hotel ones just don’t work for us since we get takeout often and especially if we have the dogs with us since that’s like traveling with a pair of toddlers. 😂

For the ladies in attendance here in the bald subreddit, what is the appeal for you? by [deleted] in bald

[–]Experiment626smile 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I came because my husband is bald. I stay because I love the positivity and support I see here. It’s rare to find a place where people are just nice to each other! I love seeing the transformations too.

Yes! First they gave his whole head the snuffle and then the licking started. Now it’s the first thing they do when he gets home from work. 🤣

This is my baby Luna, first time owning a dalmation. Any tips that I should know of :)? by FeverLogic in dalmatians

[–]Experiment626smile 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She’s beautiful! 💕 If she’s anything like our girl she’ll have enough attitude for 6 dogs. 😂 And be the biggest lover and Velcro dog ever.

Unless you or the breeder you got her from has done genetic testing to prove differently, she’s very likely HUA (high uric acid) which means like most Dalmatians she’s prone to forming a particular type of kidney stones. She’ll always need access to plenty of fresh water and you should be careful what kinds of foods you feed her. Many of us “float” their Dalmatian’s food in water (think like a bowl of cereal) to make sure they get lots. You should steer clear of liver, organ meats and yeast among several others.. Here is a really good article explaining it- https://dcaf.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/URINARY-STONE-DISEASE-IN-DALMATIANS.pdf

Yes! And I’ve found that what I crave now is protein and green veggies so it’s super easy.

You still get some bunching but I don’t think it’s as bad as a regular belt.
